Jenifer Mallory appointed EVP/GM of Columbia Records in New York

Jenifer Mallory has been appointed Executive Vice President, General Manager at Columbia Records in NYC.

She will report to Ron Perry, Chairman and CEO of Columbia Records, in the role.

Mallory succeeds former Columbia EVP/GM Joel Klaiman, who left the company after six years last month.

Mallory will continue to be based in New York and oversee Columbia’s marketing, publicity, promotion, digital, sales, content, licensing, and brand partnerships departments.

Most recently, the exec was Executive Vice President, International Marketing for Sony Music Entertainment, playing a key role in the global strategic development of talent across Columbia, Epic and RCA.

Leading teams in both New York and London, she spearheaded global campaigns for US-signed Sony artists including Adele, Beyoncé, Camila, P!nk, Harry Styles, Khalid, SZA, Travis Scott, Pharrell, Daft Punk, DJ Khaled, Future, The Chainsmokers and many others.

Mallory began her career at Sony Pictures before joining Columbia Records’ Digital Marketing Department in 2006.
