Jeff Temske named SVP, Streaming Strategy and Research at Capitol Music Group

Jeff Temske has been promoted to head a newly-created department as Senior Vice President, Streaming Strategy and Research, for Capitol Music Group (CMG).

Temske (pictured) will report to the Universal company’s Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer, in his new position.

He will oversee the company’s global efforts to launch and expand the growth of its artists and their music on key streaming platforms – including Amazon Music, Apple Music, iHeart Radio, SoundCloud and Spotify – while developing and refining strategies to maximize revenues.

As well as leading a streaming team, Temske will liaise with CMG’s Sales, Marketing, Digital Marketing, International, Promotion and A&R departments.

He will continue to be based in Hollywood at the Capitol Tower.

Prior to assuming his new position, Temske served as the company’s Vice President of Industry Research, a role he assumed in 2012 at the Director level and for which he received two level promotions within four years.

His tenure at the former EMI-owned company began in 2006 as a Senior Business Analyst. He started his a career in 2002 as a Music Buyer/Vendor Liaison for book and music retailer Borders in the company’s Ann Arbor headquarters.Music Business Worldwide
