Jasmine Hsiao appointed Managing Director of Warner Music Taiwan

Jasmine Hsiao has been named Managing Director of Warner Music Taiwan.

Hsiao will report to Chris Gobalakrishna and Jonathan Serbin, Co-Presidents of Warner Music Asia.

Her role begins with immediate effect.

Based in Taipei, Hsiao will lead the company’s operations in the local market, and will be a core member of Warner Music’s regional executive team, says the company.

Hsiao has more than 20 years’ experience in the Taiwanese music industry.

She joined Warner Music Taiwan in the early 1990s, initially working in the classical music department.

She most recently served as Warner Music Taiwan’s Deputy General Manager and Head of Business Affairs, where she was responsible for artist relationships, corporate strategic initiatives and the company’s legal affairs.

Warner Music Taiwan has also appointed Carol Chu as International Marketing Director and Catherine Chien as Senior Domestic Marketing and Business Development Director.

Chu previously worked for Warner Music Malaysia and Yonder Music, a localized music streaming service in Asia.

Chien has been employed at KKBox, a regional digital music service, as well as TVBS, a Taiwanese commercial TV broadcasting company.
