Future History, the rock-focused management company whose clients include UK breakout act Sleep Token, has appointed Nashville-based executive Jameson Roper as Partner and President of US Operations.
In his new role, Roper will oversee all North American activity for the company.
He also brings his long-running client Bilmuri to the Future History roster and has signed metalcore band Wage War to global management, a move the company describes as one of its key priorities for 2025.
Roper joins Future History with experience across the heavy and alternative music landscape, including managing Bilmuri — the solo project of Johnny Franck, an ex-member of Attack Attack!. Under Franck’s leadership, the project has released 14 albums since 2016 — including 2024’s Columbia Records breakout American Motor Sports — and has toured extensively across the U.S., UK, Europe, and Australia.
Bilmuri is currently supporting Bad Omens on their European tour.
“We danced around the idea of combining forces for a bit and once the actual proposition came around from Ryan and Andy, I couldn’t have jumped at it faster.”

Future History’s newest signing, Wage War, has released five albums on Fearless Records and built a significant foothold in the U.S. rock space, including multiple repeated Top 10 Active Rock hits, 1.5 billion cumulative global streams, and touring across major rock festivals such as Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple.
Discussing his decision to join the company, Roper said: “Getting to witness Ryan’s excitement and willingness to dive into every detail with artists has always impressed me.”
“We danced around the idea of combining forces for a bit and once the actual proposition came around from Ryan and Andy, I couldn’t have jumped at it faster. Future History’s goal is to represent best-in-class artists, and I’m thrilled to join a company where the people are also best-in-class.”
Future History founder Ryan Richards, added: “I first crossed paths with Jameson ahead of bringing Bilmuri out on Sleep Token’s European tour last year. We connected quickly through a deep love of music and a real passion for the artists we represent, and it was clear from the outset that we shared the same drive and commitment to the people we work with.”

“With him now flying the flag for us stateside — and with the addition of two hugely exciting US acts in Bilmuri and Wage War — we’re genuinely thrilled to offer our roster a truly global setup. We’re looking forward to everything we can build together from here.”
Future History partner Andy Copping, who joined the company in 2022, said: “I knew when we met Jameson that he was going to be right for our business. As we were looking to expand into the U.S. and other markets, Jameson is the perfect partner. He understands our business and will help us move it forward.”Music Business Worldwide
