James Bass and Sarah Hall promoted at RCA in the UK

James Bass has been promoted to the new role of Head of Playlisting and Sarah Hall has been promoted to Head of Publicity at Sony‘s RCA in London.

James Bass joined the RCA promotions team in 2013 as Senior National Radio Plugger. He has worked on artists includingJustin Timberlake, Beyoncé, MØ, Pharrell Williams,Yungen, Meghan Trainor, ZAYN and recently, he was crucial in Paloma Faith achieving her first UK No.1 album.

Prior to RCA, Bass was at Polydor Records for five years, during which time he worked his way up from Radio Plugger to Head of National Radio, working onartist campaigns including Eminem, Lady Gaga and Ellie Goulding. In his new role he will be responsible forplaylisting at digital streaming services as well as plugging National radio.

Sarah Hall joined the publicity dept at RCA in 2009 and has handled PR campaigns for artists including: Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Miley Cyrus, Barry Gibb, Daft Punk, Alanis Morissette, Patti Smith, Pitbull, Example, Ting Tings, Jennifer Hudson, and Meghan Trainor. Sarah has been nominated twice for Best PR Campaign at the Music Week Awards for Daft Punk (2014) and Barry Gibb (2016). She joined RCA from MBCPR and prior to that worked in the press office at Island Records where she did regional and online publicity.

David Dollimore, president of RCA Records, announced the promotion of the two key executives at the label.
