Jägermeister backs The A&R Awards in association with Abbey Road Studios

Drinks giant Jägermeister has become an official sponsor of the forthcoming A&R Awards in association with Abbey Road Studios, which take place at The Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel next week on Wednesday (November 2nd).

The company is supporting the Breaking Artist category at the ceremony.

The winner of the category will be an artist who judges believe stands on the precipice of a lasting and successful mainstream career.

The finalists for Breaking Artist supported by Jägermeister are:

Alongside Jägermeister, the ceremony is being supported by Downtown, PRS For Music, TAPE London, Music + Sport and more – as well as event partner Abbey Road Studios.

There will be awards handed out for labels, publishers, managers, producers, songwriters, individual executives and artists – all judged by senior expert figures from across the global music business.

In addition to Artist Loyalty and A&R Icon gongs, the event – presented by Music Business Worldwide – will feature an extra special award dedicated to the late Sir George Martin.

The Sir George Martin Award will recognise an A&R executive with a track record of fostering meaningful artist and songwriter relationships, who has helped push artists to fresh heights of success – and who continues to play a key role in contemporary hit-making today.

The award cannot be pitched for, with the recipient decided by MBW in conjunction with the Sir George Martin estate.Music Business Worldwide
