Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has promoted Gabz Landman to Executive Vice President, A&R.

The publisher announced the promotion on Monday (August 24).

Landman is based at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters and will continue to report to Ryan Press, President, North America, WCM.

Landman joined WCM in 2022 as Vice President, A&R, and was promoted to Senior Vice President, A&R in February 2025.

Her signings at the publisher include Amy Allen, Laufey, John Ryan, Madison Beer, Lizzy McAlpine, The Chainsmokers, Delacey, Andrew Wyatt, Daniel Chetrit, and Diplo.

Landman is both publisher and manager of Allen, who won Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical at the 2025 and 2026 Grammy Awards.

MBW reported last year that she first signed Allen for publishing at Artist Partner Group in 2017, before Allen had written for other artists.

Over the two Grammy cycles, Allen‘s credits have included songs for Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Dean.

WCM said Landman set up the session that paired Allen, Dean, and John Ryan on So Easy (To Fall in Love), which reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Pop Airplay chart in May.

She is currently working with Laufey, Diplo, and Madison Beer on upcoming music, the company added.

Among the writers Landman signed early is Cal Shapiro, who co-wrote Alex Warren‘s Ordinary and has worked with Cameron Whitcomb.

Another early signing, Carrie K, co-wrote tracks including Dashboard and American Cars on Noah Kahan‘s album The Great Divide, released in April 2026.

Carrie K also co-wrote High Road by Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph, which reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart in December 2024.

Landman was named to Variety‘s New Leaders list in 2023 and to Billboard‘s Women in Music and 40 Under 40 lists in 2025.

“Gabz has a natural instinct for spotting and developing talent ahead of the curve, and she brings a 24/7 hustle to everything she does that’s rare to find,” said Ryan Press.

“Having built some of the strongest relationships in this business, she’s a real advocate for artists and songwriters, and a true leader helping drive Warner Chappell‘s growth, both on the charts and culturally.

“She’s earned this, and I couldn’t be prouder to see this next step,” Press added.

Landman said: “I’m incredibly grateful to Ryan and the entire team at Warner Chappell for this opportunity.

“Since joining the company, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented songwriters and artists in the industry, and I’m endlessly inspired by their creativity and drive.

“Discovering and developing talent is my greatest passion, and I’m excited to keep building on that work in this new role,” Landman added.

In the role, Landman will continue to lead creative A&R strategy across North America, with a focus on signing and developing songwriters, WCM said.

The promotion follows a run of appointments at Warner Chappell.

The publisher promoted David Goldsen to Executive Vice President, A&R in July, a role also based in Los Angeles and reporting to Press.

It named Soraib el Jelali Head of A&R, Benelux, and Julian Franzoni General Manager for Argentina and Uruguay in June, and hired David Checa as Managing Director of its Colombian operation in January.

Among Landman‘s roster, Laufey renewed her global publishing deal with WCM in April.

WCM said John Ryan currently holds four songs in the Top 20 of the Mediabase radio charts.

The company also cited Bad Bunny‘s DtMF, co-written by WCM writers MAG and Scott Dittrich, alongside releases from Cardi B, Don Toliver, and ROSÉ.

Guy Moot and Carianne Marshall lead Warner Chappell as Co-Chair and CEO and Co-Chair and COO, respectively.

Warner Chappell‘s publishing revenues were up 10.9% YoY at constant currency to USD $377 million in calendar Q2 2026, according to Warner Music Group’s most recent quarterly results.Music Business Worldwide
