Copenhagen-based publisher, label and management company Tigerspring has hired former SYCO A&R Russell Hunt to head up its new UK division.
Tigerspring’s first UK clients are songwriters Sam Preston, the former Ordinary Boys frontman whose credits include Liam Payne, Jessie Ware and Nas, and Cleo Tighe, whose songs have been cut by Zedd, Kehlani, Charli XCX, Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne.
Their songs have been streamed hundreds of millions of times.
Founded in 2007 by former musician Christian Møller and EMI alumnus Søren Winding, Tigerspring began life as an indie label and artist management company, quickly expanding into publishing and songwriter and producer management.
Tigerspring’s writers/producers have contributed to several chart topping releases in the US and across the globe; The boutique roster also contains a selection of Scandinavian songwriters such as rising producer Sly (The Chainsmokers, Jonas Brothers, Cheat Codes etc.) who has recently been working with the likes of Dua Lipa and Shawn Mendes, and new UK singer songwriter Jack Curley, who is signed to Lobster, a JV with German powerhouse Starwatch Entertainment and licensed to Parlophone.
