Reporting into the MD of Pandora ANZ, Heymann has over 20 years of music industry experience.
Most recently, he was Head of Australia and New Zealand for rival streaming music service Deezer, which he joined in 2012.
Prior to this, he worked with key artists such as Cold Chisel, Led Zeppelin and The Doors as VP of Strategic Marketing for Warner Music.
Jane Huxley, Managing Director of Pandora Australia and New Zealand, said, “Pandora ANZ has so much potential to support local artists and provide them with a global audience of over 300 million listeners.
“Thomas’ experience will be key to us opening up further opportunities to connect local artists with potential fans.”
“Thomas’ commercial acumen and strategic understanding of the music ecosystem will further enable Pandora to create profitable synergies between Bands, Brands and Fans”, she added.
Pandora boasts a 3 million-strong listener base in Australia and New Zealand.
“Pandora is built with human needs and future relevance at it’s core, and I am inspired by the potential it offers artists in what is a new music world,” said Heymann.
“I am eager to introduce local artists to some of the data and tools Pandora offers that can change the way they map their careers.”
