Ex YouTube Head of Publishing Victoria Campoamor joins Spotify as Senior Director, Content Operations & Services

YouTube‘s former Head of Global Publishing Victoria Campoamor (pictured) has joined Spotify as Senior Director, Content Operations & Services, based in New York.

The exec revealed the news in a post published on LinkedIn today (April 6).

Campoamor is well known in music publishing circles, having previously served as YouTube’s Head Of Global Publishing Strategy and Operations between July 2018 and October 2019.

The widely respected exec also previously worked as Head of Music Publishing Partner Operations, YouTube and Google Play in London, a role she started in 2016.

Prior to that, Campoamor was Head of Music Partnerships EMEA for Google Play, also based in the UK – a position she held from January 2014.

Before joining Google, she was Director of Operations and IT for UK collection society, PRS For Music.

In the update posted on LinkedIn, Campoamor said: “After 6 months of waiting for a U.S. work permit and in the middle of a global pandemic, a bit of personal good news: I’m thrilled to start an incredibly exciting new job at Spotify as Senior Director for Content Operations & Services, and to be back in this industry that I love so much.
