Emmanuelle Cuny has been named Senior Vice President of Video Production for Capitol Music Group (CMG).
In her new role, Cuny will facilitate and oversee the production of music videos and other visual content for CMG artists spanning the company’s portfolio of labels.
Cuny is based in Hollywood in the company’s Capitol Tower.
Cuny joins CMG from Atlantic Records, where she creatively and financially oversaw various videos such as Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again [feat. Charlie Puth] from Furious 7, which is approaching 4 billion views.
She also oversaw Cardi B’s 2018 videos, including her collaboration with Bad Bunny, & J Balvin , I Like It; Lil Uzi Vert’s XO Tour Llif3, Young Thug’s Wyclef Jean, and many more.
Throughout her decade at the label, she also spearheaded projects for the likes of Janelle Monáe, Melanie Martinez, Kehlani, Lizzo, Meek Mill, Missy Elliott, T.I., Flo Rida, B.o.B, PnB Rock, Lupe Fiasco, Trey Songz, and Wale, among many others.
Prior to arriving at Atlantic in 2008, Cuny was video commissioner for the entire label roster at Roc-A-Fella Records, as well as marketing product manager for an array of artists that included Beanie Sigel, Freeway and State Property.
While there, she notably aligned Kanye West with director and frequent collaborator Chris Milk for All Falls Down [feat. Syleena], and numerous other visual works.
Additionally, Cuny worked on videos for JAY-Z and company films State Property and Paid In Full.
