UK-based music publisher Dynamite Songs has appointed Claudia Namukasa as Catalogue Manager and Charlotte Hancock as Rights Acquisition Manager, expanding the company’s rights management capabilities and supporting its acquisition strategy.
The company, which focuses on acquiring and managing smaller catalogs of what it describes as “culturally significant” songs, said the hires are intended to support both the administration of its existing portfolio and the analytical processes underpinning future acquisitions.
Namukasa joins from PRS for Music, where she worked as a Music Licensing Consultant. Hancock, meanwhile, arrives from Warner Chappell Music, where she served as a Senior International Royalties Analyst, overseeing royalty processing across multiple catalogs.
“Claudia and Charlotte bring exactly the kind of additional expertise and support we need to reach our ambitions and I look forward to everything we’ll build together.”

Between them, the two executives bring experience in copyright administration, licensing and royalties, as Dynamite scales its operations following a period of increased acquisition activity.
“What drew me to Dynamite is the conviction that some of the most culturally significant songs of the last few decades are sitting in places the market has not reached yet, and that there’s real work to be done in finding and unlocking them.”

Commenting on the hires, Alan Wallis, CEO of Dynamite Songs, said: “I am proud of the growth we have achieved since Dynamite Songs’ inception, driven by a simple mantra: it’s the songs that count. In a relatively short time, we have acquired over 1,100 songs, preserving and amplifying the works of songwriters who have defined the sound of their eras. Building a team that understands the value of these songs and their cultural legacies is central to how we operate. Claudia and Charlotte bring exactly the kind of additional expertise and support we need to reach our ambitions and I look forward to everything we’ll build together.”
Namukasa added: “Dynamite’s approach to catalog management is admirable, particularly its determination to understand each song and the songwriter behind it, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. As the catalog continues to grow, I look forward to overseeing the post-acquisition process and ensuring these songs are properly managed and supported so their cultural and commercial value can continue to develop.”

Charlotte Hancock, Rights Acquisition Manager at Dynamite Songs, added: “So often the industry’s attention turns to the same names, the same catalogues, the same deals. What drew me to Dynamite is the conviction that some of the most culturally significant songs of the last few decades are sitting in places the market has not reached yet, and that there’s real work to be done in finding and unlocking them.
“With an ambitious acquisition programme underway, I look forward to extending this hands-on approach to a growing number of songs that have such exciting potential.”
