Downtown’s Justin Kalifowitz to take part in keynote conversation at the Great Escape 2019

Downtown Music Founder and CEO Justin Kalifowitz (pictured) will take part in a keynote ‘in-conversation’ at the Great Escape 2019 in Brighton, UK on Thursday, May 9.

Kalifowitz’s appearance at the conference follow’s Downtown’s recent acquisition of AVL Digital Group and its portfolio of businesses, including CD Baby, AdRev, DashGo and Soundrop.

He joins previously announced keynote interviewee Cassandra Gracey (President of Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative Group), and artist Chilly Gonzales, who was also confirmed today (April 9).

This year’s edition of the conference will take place at its new home at Jury’s Inn Waterfront from May 8-11, 2019 in Brighton, England.

The Great Escape has also today announced the addition of O2 Presents: DIY Academy to the TGE Conference programme, a day of sessions, panels and networking opportunities aimed at emerging artists, musicians and students.

Speakers for O2 Presents: DIY Academy include Ditto Music, Live Nation, O2 and Atlantic Records.
