Downtown inks publishing admin and JV deal with Nashville’s Twelve6 Entertainment

Nashville-based Twelve6 Entertainment has entered into a multi-faceted partnership with Downtown Music Publishing including a publishing administration deal and the creation of a new joint venture.

As a result of this agreement, Downtown will provide creative and administration services globally to Twelve6’s roster of songwriters and artists, including Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen and Jerry Flowers.

The joint venture between the two companies will focus on identifying and signing talent.

Monument Records recording artist and songwriter Alex Hall is the first signing under this new partnership.

Hall recently released his debut track, Half Past You, and is currently in the studio recording his full debut project, produced by multi-Grammy award winner Shane McAnally, Pete Good, and AJ Babcock.

The team at Twelve6 Entertainment have a wealth of collective entertainment experience from the worlds of television, music marketing, publishing and artist development/management.

In July, Downtown Music Publishing appointed Cliff Audretch III as Vice President Creative and last month, Downtown Music Holdings announced that it is relocating its New York office to a 26,399 square-foot space located at 155 Avenue of the Americas in Soho.
