Distiller Music Group inks global publishing deal with Downtown Music Services

London-based music company Distiller Music Group has inked a global publishing deal with Downtown Music Services.

The deal will see Downtown Music Services provide music publishing administration for Distiller Music Publishing’s roster of songwriters and producers.

Distiller roster includes Dimitri Tikovoi (Purple Disco Machine, Charli XCX, MNEK, Becky Hill, Blondie, Sophie and the Giants), Danny LaFrombe (John Legend), Danny Goffey (Supergrass) and The Ramona Flowers (Nile Rogers).

Additionally, Distiller has announced that Claire Bianchi has joined Distiller Publishing as Head of A&R.

Reporting to Distiller Music Group CEO Sam Dyson, Bianchi will be based in London. Her appointment is effective immediately.

Bianchi joins Distiller Music Publishing from her previous role as A&R Manager at Stellar Songs, where she worked with songwriters and artists including Mike Kintish, TYLR Rydr, Cassyette, Sad Night Dynamite, GIRLI and The Libertines.

 

Bianchi was also “instrumental” in the success of last year’s Hypnotized by Purple Disco Machine and Sophie and the Giants, says Distiller and Downtown, with the single achieving platinum and gold status in several countries across Europe.

In other Downtown news, the company recently signed a global music publishing deal with Brooklyn-based artist, composer and producer Daniel Lopatin.

Dan Miller was also recently promoted to Director of Client Services at Downtown Music Services, while in February, Sandra Croft joined the company’s UK marketing team as its Marketing Manager.
