Deezer brings Shazam rival SongCatcher to iOS

France-born music streaming service Deezer‘s SongCatcher audio recognition feature is now available on iOS.

The feature was previously only available on Android.

SongCatcher is powered by ACRCloud, which also works with the likes of AnghamiAlibaba, Baidu, Xiaomi and more.

Deezer users can launch SongCatcher by using the search bar function in the Deezer app to find the name of the track and artist.

SongCatcher promises to instantly recognize any song from a library of over 56 million tracks.

It will also add newly identified tracks to favorites and/or playlists within Deezer

The audio recognition tool  Immediately play saved and favorite tracks on Deezer Premium from SongCatcher.

Songcatcher is available for all Deezer users, including Free, but Free users can only listen to saved songs in shuffle mode.
