Spotify‘s quarterly and annual SEC filings in the US contain statistics pertaining to the global breakdown of its premium subscribers and MAUs.
Below you can see two charts:
- The first depicts the percentage of Spotify subscribers in each region as of the end of calendar Q4;
- The second depicts the approximate number of subscribers in each region at the end of calendar Q4. This has been calculated by applying the percentage figure supplied by Spotify against the total number of subscribers at year-end. Please note: due to rounding (i.e. where Spotify might say a certain region has 11% global share of subs, but this number could represent a range of more granular figures from 10.6% to 11.4% etc.) these approximate numbers should be used as guide figures.
