Deezer has regularly updated its investors with figures showing the increasing percentage of uploads its tech is detecting from fully generative AI tracks.
By November 2025, this number had reached 34%, with 50,000 fully-AI tracks a day being uploaded.
However, Deezer said that up to 70% of plays for fully AI-generated tracks have been detected as fraudulent, with the company filtering these streams out of royalty payments.
Although fully AI-generated music accounted for only around 0.5% of all streams on Deezer, the company maintained that fraudulent activity remains the primary motivation behind these uploads.
