Deezer has regularly updated its investors with figures showing the increasing percentage of uploads its tech is detecting from fully generative AI tracks.
By January 2026, this number had reached 39%, with 60,000 fully-AI tracks a day being uploaded.
However, Deezer said that up to 85% of plays for fully AI-generated tracks have been detected as fraudulent, with the company filtering these streams out of royalty payments.
