Daniela Bosé named MD of BMG in Spain

Daniela Bosé, a seasoned figure in the Spanish music publishing industry, has been appointed Managing Director of BMG Spain. She is a former MD of Universal Music Publishing in the region.

Bosé will report to BMG’s worldwide CEO Hartwig Masuch.

Bosé leaves behind her role as Director of Business Development & Rights at Sony Music Entertainment Spain, where she was responsible for live rights, sponsorship, synch and brand partnerships.

Bosé spent 11 years at Universal Music Publishing, latterly as Managing Director, where she signed artists including Pereza, Marta Sanchez, Antonio Carmona, Nena Daconte and Tomatito and administration deals with publishing companies representing Malu, Los Caños, Melocos, Kiko & Shara and Miguel Bosé, among many others.

After working as New Business Development Director for Induyco, part of the El Corte Ingles retail group, in 2009 she was appointed by Spain’s Minister of Culture as Deputy Director of her Cabinet, where she was an active defender of intellectual property rights.

Bosé holds a degree in Business and Economics (Complutense University) with a specialization in Corporate Management and a Doctorate in Economics.
