Cris Garcia Falcão promoted to MD LATAM and Nina Rabe-Cairns upped to MD APAC at Ingrooves

Ingrooves Music Group has promoted two of its executives to manage major territories around the world.

Cris Garcia Falcão has been promoted to Managing Director LATAM, overseeing all Latin American territories. She was previously Managing Director of Ingrooves Brazil.

Nina Rabe-Cairns, meanwhile, has been promoted to Managing Director APAC, overseeing Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. She was previously Managing Director of Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

As an entrepreneur and graduate of Economics with an MBA in Marketing and 25 years of experience in finance, publishing, and the music industry, Ingrooves says that Cris Garcia Falcão is considered one of Brazil’s leading specialists in copyright management.

She began her career in music publishing at Fermata do Brasil and later founded the independent record label and publisher, Cada Instante. Falcão joined Ingrooves Music Group in 2020 as Managing Director of Brazil.

In addition to her work at Ingrooves, Cris Garcia Falcão serving as head of the local chapter of Women in Music in Brazil.

She also supports her local industry as a guest teacher of music business and copyright courses, and dedicates part of her time to mentoring non-profit projects aimed at developing artists and music entrepreneurs. She is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Nina Rabe-Cairns joined Ingrooves in 2020 after several years at Spotify, where she served as Senior Editor/Playlist Curator and Market Strategy & Operations Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to that, she worked in television as a Senior Brand Marketing Manager for Nickelodeon and Head of Content for Viacom’s digital editorial team, working on MTV and Comedy Central. She began her career as a journalist and news presenter. Rabe-Cairns is based in Sydney, Australia.
