Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has confirmed that Lucy Dickins, long-time agent for acts including Adele and Mumford & Sons, will join the agency in mid-April as a Managing Director.
In addition to serving on CAA’s Managing Director committee, Dickins will also “continue working directly with top music artists to help them achieve their goals,” according to a press release.
Based in Los Angeles, Dickins has spent the last four years as Global Head of Contemporary Music and Touring at WME, having joined the company from International Talent Booking (ITB) in 2019.
“Lucy is a tremendous business leader and exceptional agent, with a deep understanding of talent.”

Her roster has also included artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sault, Hot Chip, Jamie T, Little Simz, Bryan Ferry, and Mabel.
CAA’s Managing Director committee includes Rob Light, Howard Nuchow, Joe Cohen, Michael Levine, Joel Lubin, Maha Dakhil, Chris Silbermann, Tiffany Ward, and Paul Danforth.
Speaking about her appointment, CAA Co-Chairman and CEO Bryan Lourd said: “Lucy is a tremendous business leader and exceptional agent, with a deep understanding of talent and what it takes to help them realize their most ambitious goals.
“She’s a dynamic, thoughtful and hands-on leader with invaluable global management experience, creativity, and strategic insight. We look forward to working with her across all divisions of our company.”
At WME, Dickins oversaw all aspects of the agency’s contemporary music and touring business across its Beverly Hills, New York, Nashville, London, and Sydney offices.
Her departure was announced via an internal memo on Friday, with Kirk Sommer set to continue to lead WME’s Contemporary Music division (as Global Head of Contemporary Music) moving forward.
“I’m really excited to be joining CAA. I’ve long admired the vision and leadership of the company and the incredible team behind it.”

Los Angeles-headquartered CAA appointed Emma Banks, Darryl Eaton, and Rick Roskin as Co-Heads of Global Touring in 2024, while Head of Global Touring and Partner Rob Light was promoted to Managing Director.
“I’m really excited to be joining CAA,” said Dickins. “I’ve long admired the vision and leadership of the company and the incredible team behind it. What matters most to me is the opportunity to continue building deep creative partnerships with artists and helping them realize their ambitions on a global stage.”
Dickins began her career working as a Junior Product Manager for independent UK record label PWL before joining her father Barry Dickins’ ITB agency as an assistant in the early 1990s. After joining WME in 2019, she moved to the United States in 2022.
Dickins’ music industry family also includes her late grandfather Percy Dickins, who founded UK music publication NME; her uncle Rob Dickins, former chairman of Warner Music UK; and her brother Jonathan who manages Adele and Rosalía, among other star talent.
She has received numerous industry accolades, including Billboard’s Global Power Players, Women in Music, and Touring Power Players, as well as Pollstar’s Women of Live. In 2023, she received the UK Music Industry Trusts (MITS) Award.
Dickins follows former WME partner and senior London-based agent David Bradley in making the switch.
Bradley, who joined CAA last month, was previously Co-Head of WME’s pop division, working with artists including Dua Lipa, LCD Soundsystem, Carly Rae Jepsen, Griff, and Greta Van Fleet.Music Business Worldwide
