CEO Scott Pascucci, Chief Business Development Officer Steven Salm, and Jake Wisely, who was recently appointed Chief Publishing Executive, have joined the line-up for the annual music conference in Cannes, France.
The event takes place from June 5 – 8 and the Concord Music shared keynote is scheduled for Wednesday 6th.
The trio of Concord executives will highlight how the group has evolved from the combination of a small independent publishing company (Bicycle Music) and a small label (Concord Music Group) to becoming a global independent music company, which was bolstered last year with the acquisition of Imagem Music Group and a merger with The Bicycle Music Company in 2015.
Concord’s business is now structured around The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization and Boosey & Hawkes – which were brought across as part of Imagem – in addition to a consolidated popular song publishing group which merges together The Bicycle Music Company, Imagem Music, and Razor & Tie Publishing.
Its publishing portfolio currently stands at around 380,000 copyrights.
Pascucci, Salm and Wisely will also share their vision on the unique business model, and discuss how they have been able to develop a strong acquisition strategy to grow their musical and international footprint.
Discussing the keynote, Pascucci said: “Midem has been an important annual tradition for our executives throughout the evolution of Concord Music.
“With our acquisition of Imagem last year, Midem is now more than ever the place to come together with our global music industry peers to talk about creativity, productivity, and connectivity.”
