Music supervisor and Catalog founder Frederic Schindler argues it's time for standardized 'Music Facts' labels – modeled on food nutrition panels – to make the origin of every track in the supply chain visible to consumers.
The update, announced via YouTube's Creator Insider channel on Friday (May 1), adds a new "Create" button to the existing "Replace Song" tool in YouTube Studio on desktop.
The applications include recordings of Swift saying, 'Hey, it's Taylor,' and 'Hey, it's Taylor Swift,' as well as an image showing her holding a pink guitar on stage.
