Canada’s ole strikes deal with Cineflix Media

Canadian rights management company ole is expanding its involvement in the over-the-top (OTT) digital video market through a new deal with Cineflix Media.

Thanks to the new deal, ole becomes Cineflix Media’s financial partner in its emerging OTT distribution business. ole will also handle the administration and channel management of all Cineflix content on digital video platforms such as YouTube.

“This is a natural progression for ole’s AV rights management platform, with a longstanding and forward-thinking business partner,” said Robert Ott, Chairman and CEO of ole. “Cineflix is aligned with ole’s goals of delivering premium content in the best and most direct means possible.”

Cineflix Media creates, produces, and distributes ‘popular entertainment content for the global market’ – mainly in documentary entertainment format – with operations in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Dublin.
