BTS World Tour: The 'biggest global K-pop tour of all time' to span 79 shows across 34 regions

Back in 2019, Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino said that 1 billion people tried to buy tickets for BTS’ then tour dates the day they went on sale. Could demand for their long-awaited 2026-2027 outing be even bigger?

On Tuesday (January 13), the HYBE-signed group revealed the schedule and production details for their upcoming BTS World Tour.

Billed as “the biggest global K-pop tour of all time” and the largest of the band’s career to date, the run will span 34 regions and 79 shows, featuring first-ever performances in several cities.

The Live Nation-promoted tour will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design. According to Tuesday’s announcement, the immersive setup “places the audience at the center of the experience while allowing for increased capacity at every venue”.

The 70-plus show tour kicks off Thursday, April 9, with BTS performing for three nights in Goyang, South Korea, before heading to Tokyo, Japan.

From there, the tour moves to North America, where the group will perform in Tampa, Florida, for the first time on April 25 and 26, launching the North American leg with back-to-back nights at Raymond James Stadium before continuing across North America, Europe, and the UK.

The tour features multi-night stadium stops in all cities, including Mexico CityLas VegasLondonParisEast RutherfordTorontoChicagoLos Angeles, and more.

This fall, BTS will then bring their tour to Latin America and Asia, with stops planned in Bogotá, São Paulo, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Singapore, and more — including first-ever performances in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Kaohsiung.

The group will then return to Australia early next year for a run of shows across Melbourne and Sydney. Venue details and ticket information for the Latin America, Asia, and Australia dates will be shared at a later date.

These shows mark BTS’s first headline performances as a group since their 2021–2022 ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ tour, which spanned 12 shows across Seoul, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

According to Tuesday’s announcement, the BTS World Tour also brings “historic firsts across multiple markets”.

BTS will play Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA — marking the first and largest headline K-pop concerts ever held in both cities.

The group will also become just the second musical act to perform at Stanford Stadium in Stanford, CA, following Coldplay’s inaugural shows last year.

Additionally, the tour marks BTS’s first-ever performances in Madrid and Brussels, the first K-pop shows at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The tour also marks the group’s debut at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tickets will be available starting Thursday, January 22, for members of BTS’s fan club, via the ARMY MEMBERSHIP PRESALE, with select dates on presale on Friday, January 23.

Remaining tickets will be available via general onsale beginning Saturday, January 24 via Live Nation.

The tour announcement follows last week’s news that BTS will also release their fifth full-length album on March 20 at midnight ET, marking their return after the group’s members completed mandatory military service in South Korea.

BTS members worked on the 14-track album during the second half of 2025, according to the announcement.
