Brian Glover named Senior Director of Streaming at Create Music Group

Brian Glover has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior Director of Streaming at US-based music and media company Create Music Group.

In this new role, Los Angeles-based Glover will oversee streaming strategy for the hip-hop, R&B and pop artists that Create distributes.

Since his arrival, Create says that Glover has contributed to the success of Ice Spice’s viral hit Munch (Feelin’ U) and emerging pop star NERIAH’s rollout .

Glover joins Create from independent label Cinematic Music Group, which he joined in 2018.

There, he rose to the position of Director of Commerce and Artist Marketing.

At Cinematic he oversaw hip-hop, R&B and Pop campaigns, including with such artists as T-Pain, Yungeen Ace, Mick jenkins Big Yavo, Skaiwater and others.

Elsewhere at Create Music Group, in January, the firm acquired content management and influencer marketing agency VRTCL.

The news followed Create’s acquisition of Mumbai-based Nirvana Digital in November 2021.

In April, the company bought a major interest in The Nations, a collection of curated music YouTube channels that collectively reaches more than 60 million people.
