Brandon Silverstein’s S10 Entertainment makes raft of promotions and new hires

S10 Entertainment, founded by Normani and Anitta manager Brandon Silverstein, has made a raft of new hires and promotions.

Jay Cao and Justin Hunter have both been promoted, and the company has also appointed Miranda McEvoy and Jessica Roxana.

They will all report to CEO and founder Brandon Silverstein out of the firm’s Los Angeles offices.

Cao has been with the company since 2016 and most recently served as Creative Director & Manager at S10.

In his newly expanded role, Cao will work across S10’s management roster, record label, publishing catalog and ventures.

McEvoy, who has been working in this S10 role since October 2021, oversees day-to-day operations at the multi-sector firm.

 

She joins S10 from Snap Inc, where she worked for CEO and cofounder Evan Spiegel.

Before that, McEvoy worked at WME, where she worked for the former Global Head of Music.

Roxana has been serving as S10’s Director, Artist Management since January 2022, handling day-to-day management of Anitta for the company.

Prior to S10, she handled day-to-day management for artists including Major Lazer, Diplo, Silk City and others at TMWRK Management.

Before that, she handled administration and other important back-end activities at Mad Decent, Diplo’s record label.

Hunter, meanwhile, has held several roles at S10 since first joining in 2019.

Hunter now oversees the link between S10 divisions, optimizing and streamlining communication channels.

He previously worked at Endeavor under its Executive Chairman, Patrick Whitesell.

Brandon Silverstein recently inked a partnership for his S10 Films division with Simon Fuller, XIX Entertainment founder and the mind behind the ‘Idol’ talent franchise.

In January, S10 Publishing, Brandon Silverstein’s music publishing division, and Avex USA, the US arm of Japanese music company Avex Inc., signed a multi-year extension to the two company’s joint venture publishing partnership.Music Business Worldwide
