BMG signs exclusive global publishing deal with Waxploitation

BMG has inked an exclusive agreement with Waxploitation Records to manage and administer the tastemaking firm’s music publishing rights worldwide.

Founded in 1996 by Jeff Antebi, Waxploitation serves as a publisher, record label, and artist management company.

Antebi developed and managed the careers of Grammy Award winning artists including Danger Mouse and Gnarls Barkley, co-managed Broken Bells, and developed projects like ROME with Jack White and Norah Jones.

Waxploitation Records publishes a roster of artists and writer/producers from around the world whose music has been featured in commercials for Apple iPhone, Adidas, and Sony PlayStation, as well as television shows like Homeland, Ray Donovan, Breaking Bad (pictured).

Recently, Waxploitation released its highly anticipated Stories for Ways & Means project which features original children’s story collaborations with Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Zach Galifianakis, Danny Devito, Frank Black, and Devendra Banhart.
