BMG partners with Kartel, PledgeMusic for new Skint releases

BMG is kicking off a series of new releases from Skint Records following its acquisition of the UK-based label last year.

Kartel Music Group has been chosen as global services partner for the campaign.

The first release out of the door will be a re-issue of Fatboy Slim’s classic album Halfway Between The Gutter And The Stars.

Released June 1, it includes a collection of new and previously unreleased remixes.

Kartel CEO Charles Kirby-Welch said, “We’re excited to be working with BMG on the fantastic Skint catalogue on the eve of the labels’ 20th anniversary.”

“The Skint catalogue is a real gem, and BMG is determined to doing it proper justice with this reissue campaign,” said BMG’s Didier Dehauteur.

“We are very impressed by Kartel’s great enthusiasm and commitment to deliver this project.”
