Billboard chief John Amato is stepping down from his role as CEO of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group.
His exit follows a reorganization of the media group under new parent Valence Media.
An interim leadership plan will be revealed in due course.
Amato was named co-President of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group in 2014 after selling his Backstage magazine to Billboard, which was then owned by Guggenheim, and was promoted to CEO in 2017.
The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group was formed after Guggenheim sold its media properties to investment banker Todd Boehly in 2015.
Boehly is Chairman of Valence Media, which was formed in February and comprises of Billboard-Hollywood Reporter Media Group, dick clark productions and MRC.Music Business Worldwide
