Big Deal Music Group signs JV deal with Diplo’s Mad Decent Publishing

Big Deal Music Publishing has signed a joint venture deal with Mad Decent Publishing, the company founded by artist/producer /DJ Wesley Pentz (Diplo) and his manager and business partner Kevin Kusatsu.

Under the terms of the agreement Big Deal will administer songs for Mad Decent and the two companies will join forces to sign new talent.

Founded by Wesley Pentz (Diplo) in 2006, Mad Decent started as a record label, establishing itself as a creative center for cross-cultural electronic dance music.

In addition to being a source for important new sonic movements, Mad Decent has spawned massive hits, has more than a million YouTube subscribers, and an important live music brand with its Mad Decent Blockparty which recently made a stop in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Most recently in the Mad Decent publishing world, Mad Decent songwriters Picard Brothers contributed to the Mark Ronson global hit Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, featuring Miley Cyrus.

In November 2018 Big Deal Music Publishing Group signed a deal to represent the catalog of Gary Numan.
