Bad Bunny launches sports management agency, Rimas Sports, in partnership with manager Noah Assad

Latin Music superstar Bad Bunny has launched a new sports management agency, called Rimas Sports.

The agency, set up in partnership with his manager and Rimas Entertainment CEO Noah Assad launches with a roster consisting of Major League Baseball (MLB) players.

Jonathan Miranda will serve as President of the new Rimas Sports, which offers services such as agent management and PR, performance and skills training, financial guidance, concierge, and logistics.

Additionally, Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez, a 14-time All-Star winner and MLB American League MVP honoree, will also serve as an ambassador for Rimas Sports.

Rimas Entertainment is a self-described independent “music powerhouse” that encompasses a label and artist management.

It was launched by Assad in 2014, and in addition to Bad Bunny, Rimas’ roster includes streaming superstars like Jowell & Randy, Arcángel, Eladio Carrión and more.

Bad Bunny signed with Assad’s Rimas in 2016.

Now, expanding into the sports business with the new Rimas Sports division, Assad says that the “new venture is an expansion of that mission as we aim to bring greater representation to the Latin community in the world of sports”.

Rimas Sports roster of athletes currently includes Wilmer Flores (San Francisco Giants), Jordan Diaz (Oakland Athletics), Ronny Mauricio (New York Mets), Yonathan Daza (Colorado Rockies), Livan Soto (Los Angeles Angels), and more.

In music, Bad Bunny’s album Un Verano Sin Ti was announced by global recorded music body IFPI as the biggest album, worldwide, in 2022.

He was also named in December as the world’s biggest artist on Spotify in 2022 with 9 billion streams, and in November was named as Apple Music’s ‘Artist of the Year’.Music Business Worldwide
