AWAL signs worldwide deal with UK-based independent label B-Unique

Kobalt’s recording company AWAL has entered into an exclusive worldwide recording deal with UK-based independent label, B-Unique.

The company was formed in 2001 by major-label A&R executives, Mark Lewis and Martin Toher.

B-unique has worked with artists such as James Bay, Kodaline, John Newman, Kaiser Chiefs and Johnny Mcdaid (Snow Patrol) among others and has been involved in sales of over 100 million albums, 20 billion streams and several No.1 singles across publishing and records.

The deal will leverage AWAL and its digital and traditional distribution and marketing abilities to maximize opportunities and promotion of B-Unique’s artist roster.

Liimo (pictured) and Patrick Martin are the first two artists signed through this new partnership.
