ASCAP hires ex-Vevo executive Brooke Eplee as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has appointed Brooke Eplee as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development.

Reporting to ASCAP Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy & Digital Officer Nicholas Lehman, she will help to advance ASCAP’s modernization agenda, exploring new revenue sources, operational enhancement opportunities and other key business objectives.

Eplee has more than 15 years’ experience with business development and strategy in the music and digital media industries.

Most recently, she was Vice President, Business Development at VEVO, where she drove a re-formulation of its business model, distribution and monetization strategy and built a team to support the execution of a new strategic plan.

Prior to that, Eplee served as Senior Director of Global Business Development & Strategy at Sony Music Entertainment, overseeing partner relationships across Sony’s global digital business. She has also held positions at Nokia, Bain Capital Partners and Chatham Partners.
