Andrea Ganis promoted to President of Promotion for Atlantic Records

Andrea Ganis has been promoted to the newly created position of President of Promotion for Atlantic Records, based at the company’s New York headquarters.

In her new role, Ganis will continue to oversee all promotion activities for Atlantic and its subsidiary labels, while serving on the company’s senior leadership team.

Ganis, who joined the Atlantic promotion team in 1980, was most recently Executive Vice President.

In 2017 and 2018, Ganis was celebrated as one of the most powerful executives in the industry in Billboard’s Women in Music issue as well as being named to Variety’s Hitmakers list.

She was also inducted into the YWCA’s prestigious Academy of Women Achievers.

Ganis joined Atlantic Records in 1980 as Director of Secondary Pop Promotion.

She was appointed Vice President of National Promotion in 1988 and Senior Vice President two years later. In January of 1996, she was named Executive Vice President.
