Mackie will oversee ticketing strategy and operations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the UK. She will work closely with the General Managers for ticketing and memberships in each region.
TEG announced the appointment on Sunday (June 14).
Mackie joins TEG‘s Executive Committee and reports directly to Cameron Hoy, who was promoted to Group CEO of the company.
Mackie‘s appointment follows that of Melvin Koh, who was named General Manager, Ticketing Asia at TEG‘s Ticketek on June 1. Koh, who is based in Singapore, leads Ticketek‘s operations, strategic partnerships and platform growth across the region as TEG accelerates its presence in Asia.
Cameron Hoy, Chief Executive Officer of TEG, said: “I am delighted to announce Amy’s appointment to lead TEG’s ticketing division.
“Amy brings significant depth to the role with over 17 years’ experience in our business spanning product, technology, marketing and operations.”

“We have the capability, the teams and the momentum to continue serving our clients with excellence and to pursue new opportunities,” Mackie added.

Hoy took over as Group CEO on June 1, succeeding Brad Banducci, who stepped down after just over a year. Banducci had been appointed in March 2025, replacing longtime chief Geoff Jones, who became Chairman after 14 years leading the company.
Before joining TEG, Hoy worked in the technology, e-commerce, media and entertainment industries in Australia, including stints at News Corp Australia and Nine Entertainment.
In November 2025, TEGacquired Twenty3Live and launched Ovationamp, an in-house creative agency that unites media, digital, strategy and storytelling, consolidating its marketing operations.
Competition in the region has been building, with AEG-owned AXS agreeing to take a majority stake in Singapore-based ticketing platform SISTIC in October 2025, expanding its presence in the city-state and wider Southeast Asia.
TEG said the appointment strengthens its leadership team and reinforces its commitment to delivering ticketing services to its partners.
Technology investment firm Silver Lakeacquired TEG from Affinity Equity Partners in 2019, with minority co-investor Mercury Capital. AustralianSuper also holds a stake in the business.
TEG says it is one of Asia Pacific’s largest live entertainment and ticketing companies. The group sells over 30 million tickets per year for more than 300 venues across 15 countries, according to the company.
Beyond ticketing, TEG promotes concerts, sporting events and festivals through divisions including TEG Live and TEG Dainty.
