Global independent distribution company INgrooves Music Group has promoted Amy Dietz to Executive Vice President, General Manager.
Dietz joined INgrooves as General Manager in 2012, when the company acquired Fontana Distribution.
A long-time player in the independent music distribution space, Dietz’s expertise in both traditional and emerging music revenue streams makes her a perfect fit for INgrooves, which has invested heavily in proprietary distribution, analytics & reporting technology for the modern record business.
INgrooves interim CEO, Matthew Burns, said: “Since joining the Company, Amy has been vital in all aspects of INgrooves Music Group, especially in ensuring we are offering our partners the custom services they need to successfully market, promote and monetise their music.
“Amy takes great pride in cultivating collaborative partnerships with some of the most exciting independent labels out there, all while overseeing our global distribution operations,” said Burns.
“We are thrilled to elevate a leader of Amy’s calibre to EVP of INgrooves Music Group, and we look forward to even greater things ahead.”
INgrooves Music Group is comprised of three divisions: INgrooves Distribution Services, INresidence Artist Services and INgrooves Rights Services.
Before INgrooves/Fontana, Dietz worked for Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), where she rose from a regional advertising manager to Vice President of Label and Artist Development.
While at ADA, she took an active role in developing and managing the company’s label partner services including global physical and digital distribution, merchandise sales, direct-to-consumer sales, general sales and marketing.Music Business Worldwide
