Amazon Prime Music expanding into India with Saregama deal

Amazon Prime Music is expanding into India via a partnership with India’s oldest music label, Saregama.

The platform will start streaming the label’s 117,000 tracks on Amazon Prime Music in India in the coming months.

Prime members will soon be able to listen to tracks on Amazon Prime Music from Saregama movie soundtracks like Guide, Don, Kati Patang, Waqt and CID.

Saregama also represents the catalogue of local artists such as Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi, Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, M. S. Subbulakshmi, Asha Bhosle, R.D Burman, Kishore Kumar, and more.
