Prior to her stint at Anthem, Hamamura served as chief creative officer of Aloha Music Group for seven years, and at Hollywood Records as VP for A&R where she spent more than a decade working with artists including Jesse McCartney, Ludacris and T-Pain.

With her extensive managerial, creative, and operational experience during her career in the music industry, Hamamura will also help grow ONErpm’s artist services and development.

Speaking about her appointment, Hamamura said: “ONErpm is poised for continued growth and I look forward to leading the team in Los Angeles.”

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an innovative company leading change in the industry and to focus on working alongside creators to develop their careers,” she added.

ONErpm CEO Emmanuel Zunz welcomed Hamamura’s appointment, saying “Allison is a talented and experienced executive with the entrepreneurial skills and creative vision needed to lead our team in Los Angeles.”

The appointment marks the most recent high-profile industry veteran to join the company.

Tim Wipperman, a veteran music publishing and label executive and another Anthem Entertainment alumnus, joined ONErpm as managing director for Nashville last month. Wipperman served nearly three decades at Warner Chappell, running its Nashville office before moving to American country music record label Equity Music Group where he worked for five years. Wipperman then formed his own company Wipperman Music Group.

In December 2021, Island Records’ former digital marketing head Jenna LoMonaco joined ONErpm as head of its US marketing division. LoMonaco’s portfolio includes working with artists including The Killers, Shawn Mendes, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Tove Lo, Fall Out Boy and Demi Lovato.

ONErpm provides distribution and other services including marketing support, supply chain tools, business intelligence, publishing, accounting, and global payment solutions for indie artists and labels. Just recently, the company — founded in 2010 by Zunz and Matthew Olim, one of the co-founders of now-defunct online compact-disc distributor CDNow — launched a music publishing administration service for clients.

The new service will “allow songwriters and publishers (copyright owners) to administer catalogs and collect publishing royalties from around the world in an easy and transparent way,” the company said earlier this month.

ONErpm’s recent signings include American rapper Bobby Shmurda, TikTok sensation Chri$tian Gate$, Nigerian star Korede Bello, and Latin Grammy-award winning Daniel Santacruz.

The company currently operates in 30 territories globally and in this year alone, ONErpm opened new offices in Atlanta, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and five new offices across Africa including Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.
