Alix Kram named VP of Global Brand Licensing at Warner’s WEA

WEA Corp., the artist and label services arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), has appointed Alix Kram to the role of Vice President, Global Brand Licensing.

US-based Kram’s responsibilities will include overseeing the consumer products and brand licensing strategy for the company, as well as developing retail partnerships and new product lines.

Kram joins WEA from theKRAMcollective, a creative product and marketing agency that she founded. Alix is based in New York and reports to Matt Young, Senior Vice President, Global Artist Solutions, WEA.

Matt Young said, “Alix’s wealth of licensing and lifestyle marketing knowledge will help the Global Sales and Marketing team lay the groundwork for the consumer product strategy of the future.

“We are very happy to have her on our team.”

Kram added, “I’m thrilled to join the Warner Music Group family. With a background in entertainment and consumer products, moving to the music side of the industry is a natural and exciting fit for me.

“The roster of artists available to creatively strategize with regarding product and licensing on a global scale is vast, diverse, and rich with opportunity.”

Prior to founding theKRAMCollective, Kram spent 11 years with Nickelodeon, most recently as Vice President, Lifestyle and Retail Marketing.

While at Nickelodeon, Kram shepherded partnerships with brands and artists such as FILA, Pharrell WIlliams, Theophilus London and Jeremy Scott for MOSCHINO, as well as first time presence at events like SXSW, Art Basel, and Milan Fashion Week.Music Business Worldwide
