Music subscription service Rdio has signed an exclusive partnership with AXS – AEG’s joint venture ticketing platform.
All AXS.com ticket buyers in the US will now automatically receive free trial subscriptions to Rdio Unlimited, which provides on-demand access to Rdio’s catalogue of more than 32 million songs.
Rdio Unlimited will be offered as a free, 30-day trial during the ticket checkout process on AXS.com. Integrated billing with AXS promises to make it simple for customers to extend their Rdio Unlimited subscriptions beyond the trial period if they choose not to cancel.
Thanks to a joint personalisation feature, those who sign up to through AXS will be notified when new music from artists whose tickets they’re purchased are added to the Rdio roster.
