Universal partners with Wrangler for country music video series

Universal Music Group has partnered with clothing brand Wrangler for a series of country music related video content.

The videos will be streamed via Wrangler’s online and mobile platform, and will kick off with an exclusive live stream of a George Strait concert on Wednesday, November 16th.

Also in the works is acoustic performances from UMG Nashville artists and lifestyle vignettes featuring both veteran and rising talent.   

The Strait gig will promote the album launch of his 20-year career-spanning 56-track box set, Strait Out of the Box: Part 2. It goes on sale Nov. 18 exclusively on Walmart.com.

Preceding the show, Strait will make a special announcement addressing his tour plans for 2017.

The Wrangler Network was created in 2013 and features live rodeo action, concerts and life stories.
