Sony delves into archives for merch store – with duvet covers on the way

Legacy Recordings, the catalogue division of Sony Music Entertainment, is opening up the archives to fuel a new online merch shop from the major.

Shop.LegacyRecordings.com offers a wide range of merchandise incorporating and/or inspired by Sony‘s historic label designs, logos, album covers, promotional swag, artist biographies and more.

These include Columbia Records, Epic Records, Groove, Kama Sutra Records, OKeh Records, RCA Victor and Silvertone Records.

It’s not all labels, though: new artist collections will be regularly added to the shop, says Sony, ‘to keep music fans coming back for the best record label merchandise ever’.

For starters, Shop.LegacyRecordings.com showcasing a special Johnny Cash store offering T-shirts, mugs, magnets, photo prints, Galaxy and iPhone cases, silky fabric covered journals and messenger bags emblazoned with the singer/songwriter’s iconography.

Branded high-quality merchandise items currently offered include: cell phone cases for iPhone and Galaxy phones; T-shirts (adult sizes in 100% super soft combed cotton); messenger bags; mugs; magnets; journals and more.
