Sheila Richman promoted at Atlantic Records to EVP, Press & Media

New York-based Sheila Richman has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Press & Media, for Atlantic Records.

Richman, who joined Atlantic in 2004, was most recently Senior Vice President of Publicity.

The exec is responsible for directing media strategy for the entire Atlantic Group, which encompasses Atlantic Records and its various affiliated labels, including Big Beat, Elektra, Fueled By Ramen, and Roadrunner.

Beyond her media responsibilities, as a member of Atlantic’s senior management team, Richman plays a pivotal role in planning and executing long-term artist career development, while being involved in a wide range of label and executive initiatives.

Leading a 16-member media team in New York and Los Angeles, Richman oversees campaigns for artists across the Atlantic Group roster – including stars as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, twenty one pilots, Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, David Guetta, Sturgill Simpson, Janelle Monae, Paramore, Jason Mraz, Wiz Khalifa, James Blunt, Melanie Martinez and Charlie Puth.
