SESAC signs REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin

REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin has signed with SESAC for representation of his songwriting catalogue.

REO Speedwagon’s career has spanned five decades.

The band has sold more than 22 million albums in the U.S. and 40 million globally and continues to be a staple at classic rock and A/C radio.

Cronin, who joined the band in 1972, penned many of the band’s top hits, including “Keep On Loving You,” “Time for Me to Fly,” “Don’t Let Him Go” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling.”

Unlike rivals ASCAP and BMI, SESAC is a for-profit songwriter/publisher PRO in the U.S – but claims to be the market’s only PRO to pay monthly radio royalties and the first PRO to pay songwriters and publishers for live performances.

Its signings include Green Day, Mariah Carey, Zac Brown, Charli XCX, Nikki Sixx, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Lady Antebellum and the Kurt Cobain estate.
