Patti Coleman named SVP at WMG’s Rhino Entertainment

Patti Coleman has been named Senior Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Rhino Entertainment, the catalogue division of Warner Music Group.

Based in the company’s headquarters in Burbank, CA, Coleman will report to Mark Pinkus, President of Rhino Entertainment.

In her new role, Coleman will run the legal and business affairs department for Rhino where she will oversee all artist and production deals, acquisitions, and joint ventures as well as all licenses and trademark matters.

In addition, she will work with new Rhino signings of legacy artists who will be recording new material for the label, and oversee all business affairs activity in relation to Rhino’s relationship with the Grateful Dead as well as Frank Sinatra Enterprises (FSE), Rhino’s joint venture with the Sinatra estate.

Coleman was previously Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Warner Bros. Records.

During her eight years at WBR, she has worked with artists including Fleetwood Mac, Green Day, and R.E.M. as well as new signings Andra Day and Nico & Vinz.

Prior to joining WMG, Coleman spent nearly a decade as a business affairs attorney for Universal Music Group in its New York and L.A. offices.
