Napalm Records opens UK office headed up by Wally van Middendorp

Independent rock label Napalm Records is opening a UK office in August, which will be headed up by respected international music exec Wally van Middendorp.

Van Middendorp has held record label posts in Europe as Managing Director of Eleven Seven Music Group Europe and SVP International at Roadrunner Records.

At Roadrunner, he oversaw global marketing and sales for all ex-North American territories and was instrumental in breaking and developing artists such as Trivium, Machine Head, Black Stone Cherry, Airbourne, Alter Bridge and Slash.

He has also been the General Manager for Sony Music Netherlands and General Manager for Play It Again Sam in Benelux, where he worked with The Prodigy, Depeche Mode and The Pixies.

In his new role, Van Middendorp will help expand global initiatives, develop artists and further cement the footprint for Napalm Records in the UK.

He will also serve in an A&R and licensing capacity, and be responsible for marketing, sales, promotion and brand development of Napalm Records releases and artists in the UK.

In-house promoters Andy Turner and Will Palmer complete the Napalm Records UK team.

Since 1992, Napalm Records has worked with artists in the rock and metal genre such as Alter Bridge, Devildriver, W.A.S.P, Monster Magnet, Kamelot and more.

As well as the UK, the label has offices in Austria, Germany, and two US offices in Austin and New York.
