Metropolis Music becomes part of Live Nation with new venture

Live Nation has formed a new promotions company in the UK, to trade as Metropolis Music.

The new venture will be a reconfiguration of the established UK promoters Metropolis, integrating into the Live Nation team.

The team will include Bob Angus as Chairman; Raye Cosbert as Managing Director; Andy Robbins, Kiarn Eslami and Tony Dobson on Artist Bookings; Sophie Pitchforth as Executive Booking Coordinator; and Ronnie Lee as Production Coordinator.

According to Companies House filings, the Directors of Metropolis Music Ltd are: Bob Angus (Metropolis), Denis Desmond (Live Nation) and Paul Latham (Live Nation). Selina Emeny (Live Nation) is named company Secretary.

Metropolis is recognised as one of the UK’s leading independent concert and event promoters, working with the likes of Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Eminem and Christine and the Queens.

It is also the long-term promoter of the annual V Festival, working in tandem with Live Nation.
