Glassnote’s The Strumbellas go Gold in the US with single Spirits

The Strumbellas, the Canadian band signed to Glassnote Records, have seen their priority track ‘Spirits’ certified Gold in the US.

The achievement comes after the track went double-platinum in Italy and Gold in Germany.

According to Glassnote, Spirits has reached an audience-mark of over 500m via radio – the largest of the year for a new alternative artist.

Follow-up single ‘We Don’t Know’ has already broken the Top 20 at Alternative Radio in the US and is approaching the Top 20 at AAA.

“I am so proud the strumbellas are on Glassnote.”

Both tracks are taken from album Hope, released earlier this year.

“The moment I heard The Strumbellas’ ‘Spirits’ I knew it was one of those special songs that people needed to hear,” said Daniel Glass, founder of Glassnote Entertainment Group.

“I am so proud they are on Glassnote. They’ve worked so hard this year to achieve this milestone. From packed festival crowds to sold out shows, this is another amazing moment to come from Hope.”

The band were rresented with their US Gold-selling plaque by Glassnote Records at The Friars Club last Saturday ahead of their Sold Out show at Bowery Ballroom.
