Cooking Vinyl’s ‘Future Of…’ debates return to London next month

Following the success of the first series of Cooking Vinyl Presents: ‘The Future of…..’ debates, which examined a range of music industry issues earlier this year, four new events have been announced over the coming months.

Taking place at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden these invite only events held in association with Music Business Worldwide are free to successful ticket applicants, further details of which are below.

The first of these debates is entitled ‘The Future of…..Music in London,’ and will take place at 5pm on Thursday, September 1st.

This debate is curated by Dr Shain Shapiro, founder of Sound Diplomacy.

As strategists for cities, developers, tech firms, large private sector organisations and governments, Sound Diplomacy provides cutting-edge research and market expertise, placing music, music business and night time economy strategies in city, region, tech and development plans.

The panelists, who all specialize in a range of disciplines focused on various aspects of music in London, will be discussing the role that London plays as a music city.

How has it changed in recent years, what are the challenges it faces and what can be done to keep it at the forefront of cultural innovation?
